Zak, PhD, is founding director of the Center for Neuroeconomics Studies at Claremont Graduate University. He has published many papers regarding the study of neurological hormones and their relationship to trust. Dr. Zak proposes in his lecture “Love, Belief and Neurobiology of Attachment” that the neuroactive peptide oxytocin helps mediate social attachments and temporary trust in humans.
