She discovered unexpected opportunities in the MCB program at the University of Washington that she never imagined. She was awarded a Bonderman Travel Scholarship and plans to travel the world for eight months, following in Captain Cook's footsteps. She will continue her research as a post-doc in Edinburgh, Scotland.
